Footsteps Nurseries, London

We are a small, family owned chain of nurseries offering care to children from 6 months to 5 years. Our nurseries are located in Leytonstone, Chingford, and Walthamstow in East London where we have been serving the community since 2010.  There is currently a high demand for nursery spaces and so we recommend reaching out as soon as possible in order to be added to the waiting list.

Footsteps Nurseries

Our vision is of an organisation that nurtures children and staff whilst supporting families. Our aim is to create welcoming nurseries that have strong, united, inclusive teams that put children at the centre of everything they do. Staff that deliver the best possible care and education, enjoy excellent relationships with our families and are ambassadors for the nursery. Exciting News! Small Steps Nursery Leyton Opening Early 2025

We are thrilled to announce the opening of our new Small Steps Nursery in Leyton! Part of the Footsteps Nurseries family, our Leyton location offers a warm, home-like environment where children can thrive. Located on Canterbury Road, just a short walk from Leyton Midland station, our new nursery is designed to provide the exceptional care and educational experience that our families know and love.

While renovations are underway, we’re accepting registrations, and spaces are filling up fast! Though tours of the new site are not yet available, we invite you to visit our other nurseries to experience the quality of care we’re dedicated to providing.

Join us on this exciting journey as we expand our commitment to nurturing each child’s growth with care, safety, and joy in the Leyton community.

My son attended this nursery for 18 months prior to starting school. Staff were helpful and caring towards children without being over bearing. Great facilities and food choices were adapted for my son when he wasn't keen on something. He made great friends at the nursery too which we have kept in touch. I will be enquiring for my next child as was pleased overall. Focus on learning appeared mainly to be in science and maths the only criticism is maybe some more work into writing before school but from a nurturing stand point we couldn't of asked for more.

Our son attended Footsteps from age one until starting primary school and it was such a brilliant experience for him. The management and staff are wonderful, and take a real interest in the children they care for. They also go to great lengths to ensure the activities they do are fun, that the kids are happy, and in the pre-school room they gave lots of excellent help in preparing the children for primary school. We felt very lucky to find such first-rate care for our child. Highly recommended.
